—indent–>Please picture in your mind that today, October 18, 2010, my wife and I got ready to have two new cats live in our apartment, and we are extremely excited. Can you imagine how happy it makes us feel to be able to rescue a pair of chubby, black and grey adult brother cats that would have been put down if we didn’t help them. This was important to me because most people like to adopt kittens, but nobody wants to take these ten year old cats in so we were their last chance.
—indent–> Please picture in your mind that in The New York Times, front page article was about how Japan is suffering from economic deflation, and it is disappointing to see a country I love so much in trouble. Can you imagine being the third strongest economy in the world but having sodas cost ten cents because nobody can afford regular prices? This was interesting to me because right when my wife and I left Japan was when the country started having such serious problems, so I didn’t get to see much of the problems.
