4 Steps: Phase II (advanced)
Today, October 7, 2010, I had crazy day because during the 7th grade class we had two fire drills and then an educational talk from the East Newark Fire Department about fire safety. Imagine, if you will, trying to teach grammar and reading techniques after a thrilling discussion about structure fires and how to survive them.
In Dance, Dance, Dance, by Haruki Murakami, pages 270-290, I had another nail-biting read because the main character mysteriously found Kiki wondering around Honolulu, and she led him into a room full of human corpses. Imagine, if you will, being brave enough to follow a woman who mysteriously disappeared from Japan into a dimly lit room filled with dust, ash, and six perfectly white skeletons.
