10. Rising Action: introduces obstacles that make the character’s problems more complicated.

11. Climax: Is the turning point in the story and the moment of greatest suspense.

12. Falling Action: Reveals the outcome of the story’s climax; it eases out the plot.

13. Resolution: Reveals the story’s final outcome.  Sometimes plot twists happen at this point

16. External Conflict involves a struggle between a character and an outside force, such as another character, a force of nature, or society.
